THE MATCH PROGRAMME Martin O'Neill talks about being devastated by defeat at the hands of lucky Juventus in the CL match in Turin. Pictures from Turin and the story of the match. One aspect of the Celtic programme that has greatly improved recently is the feature articles including 'Glory Day'. This prog features the Centenary year Scottish Cup triumph against Dundee United and Patsy Gallacher's Grandson Kevin who scored the Arabs' goal in a 2-1 win for the Bhoys. It includes some fantastic pics of The Bear, Anton, wee Joe and those other heroes of the day. Neil Lennon is the poster on the middle pages. As usual, the prog is crammed with adverts. Great cover design. Not one programme related article. Cost £2. |

Quarter-final
25 February 2002
Pittodrie Stadium
Attendance: 17, 082
MIB: Hugh Dallas
| Dallas turned in another inept and, in our opinion, biased performance with some very strange decisions - booking Agathe for being pulled to the ground by his shirt and shorts, booking big Sutton for his first bad tackle and letting an identical Aberdeen tackle go minutes later without even speaking to the Dons player, awarding a penalty against Balde when the player clearly got to the ball first, not allowing treatment for big Sutton when he was clearly the victim of a very late challenge by that wee shite Young, ignoring his linesman's flag when sutton suffered that late challenge (questioned by Saint Martin after the match, the linesman denied that he had put his flag up or that he saw anything wrong. I was at the match and can assure everyone that he DID have his flag up for that tackle. His errors go on and on but that's enough. If Dallas is our best ref, we are in a sorry state. |

THE MATCH PROGRAMME This is the second "Super New Look Programme" as advertised in the Daily Ranger (and other fish wrappers). The A4, 32 page glossy has far too many adverts to justify the £2 price tag and reduction in the number of pages. Stan Petrov is the poster on the middle pages and King Billy reveals his all-time Top-Ten:
As usual, the prog has a great cover design. Not one programme related article. Cost £2. |
