POSTPONED
Very Rare Issue

This A4 size glossy programme was supposed to go on sale for this match but the terrible tradegy in the USA on the day before, quite rightly, meant that all matches in the Champions League were postponed.

The current crop of Celtic programmes are fantastic value at £2. Especially, when you consider the offerings at other grounds we have visited this year. The cover designs just get better and better and the articles inside are greatly improved. This programme has brilliant team photo taken before the match in the Amsterdam ArenA.

One critisism that could be made of programmes these days is that there are not enough articles about programmes. I would like to see more coverage of the hobby. After all who buys the programmes, if not the collector? Rather than pay McGlone more money to write his drivel, why not pay someone like Celtic programmes expert Tom McGouran to write an article on our hobby.

If there's a better programme being published in Scotland this season, I haven't seen it yet.

Celtic have played Rosenborg only one other time in European competition and you can see the programmes for those matches on the 'Celtic in Europe' page.

The decision about whether or not to publish a new programme for the rearranged tie on 10th October is being debated by the Editorial team responsible for publishing Celtic match programmes. We will let you know their decision as soon as it is made. www.celticfc.net

UPDATE - Although the Celtic Programme Department originally said that they would not be printing a new issue, a new programme (see below) was printed for the rescheduled match, Every copy of the original programme (left) were destroyed making the few that managed to find their way out very rare and, of course, valuable. Even before the decision to destroy the unsold copies this programme was being traded at £10. Get it quick! This programme wiil not be picked up cheaply.
