The 24 page official programme was distributed free on entry to match. None were available at the official Celtic turnstyles and where they were available, only one per person was allowed. Could be quite scarce in the future.

OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER

The official periodical of Villarreal called "Grocblau" was distributed free, outside the stadium, before the match. It is a newspaper similar to Valencia's "Che" and is the same size as a Daily Ranger. All eight pages are dedicated to the Celtic game and it contained team lineups. Hundreds were available and this should be quite common in the future.

Printed as a travel itinary by a group of Celtic Supporters that go regularly to European away matches.

VILLARREAL FANS BULLETIN

This is an official publication called "FORA DE JOC" and was distributed free around the stadium up until kick-off time. Printed on a single glossy sheet using a single spot colour in various shades (keeps the cost at the printers to a minimum), when folded it makes four A5 pages. It was actually intended for Villarreal fans to give information on their opponents. Inside, the Celtic player pool was listed along with the name of the manager, the club badge, the name of our stadium (not Parkhead - Celtic Park), stadium capacity, a list of our honours and the likely formation of the team. It is not a match programme.

Their effort at the likely team line-up for Celtic was way off. They had listed John Hartson, a guy called Laursen that used to play for us, Johan Mjallby, Paul Lambert, Alan Thompson and big Rab. On the back page page, they have a picture of the Hoops, two photos of Henrik and a copy of the advert for the new silver and green strip from the back cover of the Celtic View. Not readily available and should be quite difficult to get in the future.

SPANISH PIRATE PROGRAMME

Another offering from the regular Spanish publishers. Sold all around the ground and surrounding area, before and after the match for 5€. Produced to their usual high standards on glossy paper, the programme has 24 pages in full-colour. The usual amount of these programmes were on sale so they should not be very difficult to get in the future.

WHITE PIRATE PROGRAMME

This pirate programme is another home-made job. We didn't see any being sold in Villarreal so cannot give a price.

LONSDALE TRAVEL MATCH TICKET

These tickets were giving out to supporters that made the journey to Spain with Celtic's official travel company, Lonsdale Travel.

Sold for 8€ at the souvenir stalls and the official club shop.
