OFFICIAL PROGRAMME OF EVENTS The New York Saint Patrick's day parade has been going on since 1762, when Irish immigrants in the British colonial army marched down the city streets to honour the patron saint of their country. The parade marches up 5th Avenue from 44th to 86th streets and is the oldest and largest in the World. |
