BEST ISSUE OF THE SEASON

The A4 programme below was issued by the Celtic Supporters' Association at their 60th Annual Rally held in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on March 11 2007. As this year is the 40th anniversary of Celtic becoming the first British team to win the European Cup in 1967 this year's guests of honour were none other than the Lisbon Lions. The programme has laminated covers, is printed in full-colour on glossy paper and has 32 pages for the £2 donation. It is a fantastic issue. The designer has used the cover of the programme issued for the 1967 European Cup Final against Inter Milan and incorporated the green and yellow vertical stripes of the international away strip used this season.

The pick of the articles inside are the reproduction of the front page of Daily Record newspaper that exclaimed Champions of Europe - Celtic V-E night '67! and the match report of the final. Another page has the stats from each game on the way to the final and a picture of every match programme up to the final. 10 out of 10 for this stunning issue, it's the best we've seen this season and at only £2 a bargain compared to the ridiculous prices charged for the Champions League match programmes.
