The A4 programme below was issued by the Celtic Supporters' Association for their 61st Annual Rally. Like last year, it was held in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. This year's guest of honour was the bhoy from Japan - Shunsuke Nakamura. The programme has card covers, is printed in full-colour on glossy paper and has 28 pages for the £2 donation. It is another work of art and, although we didn't think they would manage to surpass last year's design, the cover of the programme is a work of art that uses a Jim Scullion painting of Nakamura as the main thrust of the page.

Inside, there are words from the Association president, Gerald Madden who has words for poor Phil O'Donnell and ex-director Jimmy Farrell, both of whom passed away recently and we find out that Billy McNeill is present to pick up an honour on behalf of the Centenary team that won the Double twenty years ago this Summer.

There to see Shunsuke Nakamura being honoured by the Faithfull was the Japanese Consul General to Scotland, Mr kenichi Suganuma. The event was also attended by Celtic Chairman John Reid, Cheif Executive Peter Lawwell, Manager Gordon Strachan and the Celtic first team and reserves.

The pick of the articles inside is the Nakamura career stats on the middle pages. Jim Scullion, the artist that created the Nakamura painting on the front cover, is profiled. He is one is the UK's top sports artist and admits that "Painting and Celtic Football Club" are his two obsessions in life.
