Scottish Cup Round 5. Dunfermline have been thrown out of the cup for infringing Cup rules by playing a banned player and some other minor offences. The ban is subject to an appeal by Dunfermline. Their opponents in that tie now play the winners from the Morton v Celtic tie in the next round.
Update: The SFA have changed their decision to eject Dunfermline from the cup. It now appears that it's okay to play a banned player and then claim you didn't know about it - or whatever Dunfermline claimed to prove their innocence. The SFA decided that the two clubs should replay the match. What a bunch.
Dunfermiline won the replayed match.
