The 18th Foyle Cup since its inception in 1992. It takes place in Derry City and surrounding towns with teams entering at age groups from Under 10 to 18. The first Foyle Cup was contested by 8 local teams. Today, it is an international football tournament attended by many European youth teams from England, Scotland, France, Holland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Denmark as well as teams from Canada and the USA. Celtic won the Under 14's Cup Final at the Brandywell Stadium by beating Linfield 4-1 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in the final. On the way to the final the young Celts recorded the results below:
