 The
Celtic View was forty years old the day after this issue. Founded by former
chairman Jack McGinn, Issue 1 hit the streets of Glasgow on August 11
1965 and was the first club newspaper of it's kind. To celebrate this
landmark, this week's issue of the View contained a free reproduction
copy of that very first issue. Well done Celtic View and thanks for a
great piece of memorabilia. You can subscribe to the View by calling 0845

to see a picture of the Issue 1repro. Unfortunately, no indication that
the free issue is a reprint was included so watch out for it appearing
